Rangers vs Sharks - Post Game Thoughts

This was a huge HUGE game. We finally beat a Western Conference team and a damn good one at that. We had great everything. There was aggressive play, great goaltending and a powerplay goal. I think the powerplay goal is the biggest part of this game. That had to be a huge weight off the teams shoulders, knowing that they could score a powerplay goal. This was just a huge game with just huge pressure lifted off the team.

Now, yea you could be saying, look at us, we beat Buffalo and the best road team in the NHL. We are not there yet. 2 games is not consistency. There are signs of it, don’t get me wrong, but the Rangers need more of a 5 out of 6 streak or longer. That will show consistency. Teams behind and above us still have 1 or 2 games on us, so we are not exactly sure where the Rangers stand right now. But if play like this can continue, the Rangers can put in a nice push not only to the playoffs, but into a good seed.
