The Importance Of The Next 2 Games

It's always difficult to say that a team is in such a dire situation that they absolutely need a win at this point in the season. But, the Rangers situation is damn close. The Rangers have as many as 4 more games played than some teams around them in the standings. That is why 3-4 points are a must this weekend. Next week is going to be a blood bath. Teams all around us picking up points while our team sits at home. Its unfortunate the way this season's schedule has played out but that's the way it is. From a pure psychological perspective, the Rangers need to have these two games, leave everything out on the rink. They will certainly have time to rest next week.
