That was another strong period by the Rangers. The scoring doesn't show as much dominance as the first period but the play was just as strong. This is exactly what the Rangers need coming off the longest break of the season. Strong play against a team above them in the standings is crucial. Everything but the powerplay, as usual, is working and I think this game is basically in the bag.
One thing to note. Was that really Malik's first point since opening day? Yea, gives me even more reason to boo him. That is terrible.
