Lets See What This Team is Made Of - First Period Thoughts Rangers @ Canadiens

So the great play from our last two games isn’t showing up. The best powerplay in the NHL did what they do best and put in two very nice goals. Those were both very nice goals that were almost impossible for Henrik to save. Henrik and the PK unit is not the problem. First, Rosival should have never gotten a penalty. He is a veteran player and that was such a stupid penalty, and it cost us. Once again it is the offense getting beat. Montreal is out hustling the Rangers and Jagr is basically invisible. I really don’t think he is playing right now. The Rangers only had 4 shots. They need to throw some at the net, test the goalie.

This obviously is still a game we can win. Its only 2 goals and through the last two games the Rangers have shown signs of great offensive play. This is going to test this team. Can they come back from an early deficit in a very important game during a very important stretch in the season.
