Good News and Bad News

Which one do you want to hear first? I'll give you the bad news first. Some frustrations from the failure against the Kings carried over into practice. Now if you could pick one person to start problems you would probably guess Avery. Well you’re right. He got into a little scrap with Malik today. That’s quite the uneven matchup but it was said to be a fight that was in the rules of the game. Renney wasn't too upset and said that there will be no problems from this incident. They were reported working together on drills right after. Unfortunately Avery bolted right after practice, just like he did after last night’s game. Maybe Malik will get traded now even though I am sure it wasn't all his fault.

Now the good news. Betts has no tears and is listed as day-to-day. Thank God because we can't lose the best 4th line center in the NHL. No word on when he will play but Greg Moore was at practice as Byers was sent back to Hartford. Hopefully Betts won't be out long and he and Shanny can get back soon.
