Yankee Stadium Rumors Continue

The newest rumor is that the Rangers will be playing the Bruins in a home-and-home with the game in Boston being at Fenway Park. Supposedly NBC wants the Rangers to play them so they can get a bigger market to watch the game. The Islanders and Devils both have interest in participating in this game but NBC doesn't want to televise a small market like that.

Personally, why should NBC decide who we play? I guess since they air it they do have the right to suggest an opponent but it should be the Rangers and the NHL's final decision. A home-and-home against the Bruins in Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park is pretty cool but I would rather play a rival like the Islanders or Devils. All of these are still rumors so nothing is official yet. We will have to wait and see what the NHL and the Rangers come up with.
