Good News and Bad

Al just announced on the pregame show that he heard from a source, one that he said was as good as it gets, that the Rangers will be playing the Islanders at Yankee Stadium on New Year's Day. I love this. I am a Yankee fan also, so the Rangers playing their big rivals is like a dream come true. I haven't seen anything else online about this but I trust Al.

Now the bad news. Betts is out for 2-3 weeks after undergoing minor foot surgery. This is a tough loss for the Rangers. He is a very important part of the team and makes the 4th line run. Hollweg should replace him for the whole time, which means no Hartford call up. Hopefully he can make it back in time for the playoffs because he is a player that we need.
