Rangers at Devils - Post Game

There are certain wins that just feel better than others. This win tops my list for the season. It wasn't the most important and doesn't really carry to much weight in the standings but...YES!!!!!!!!!!!

What makes this great is that the Devils played brilliantly. Absolute shut down hockey as only the Devils and Marty Brodeur can do it. We beat them at their own game!!!! Balance baby...balance. Henrik Lundqvist literally raised his arms straight into the air after his save on Parise. What a win! WHAT A WIN!! This win won't mean much 2 weeks from now but how sweet it is right now. 

I can't stop ranting. With 5 minutes to go Marty was probably relishing in his first win over the Rangers and even more so because he basically did it himself. But the Devils blinked...well more like Chris Drury said boo AND THEN the Devils blinked. What a goal! What a win!

No analysis here. Just being a fan and enjoying the night.

1. Chris Drury - Captain Clutch!

2. Henrik Lundqvist - Quite honestly don't remember him making more than 3 or 4 saves during regulation. He was big in the shootout and you gotta love his visible excitement at the end.

3. Ryan Callahan - Eh on the shootout attempt but simply fantastic game. His pass gave the Rangers life in this game.

4. Nigel Dawes - what the hell...let's give a 4th star. This guy was a bust at the beginning of the season. No more. Night and night out one of the best players on the ice.

Again, Malik is very good. Marty Broduer is also very good...but not better than Henrik :)
