Bruins at Rangers - Second Period Thoughts

One of the defining characteristics of the Rangers last season was that they used to make very average goaltenders look like Patrick Roy on a nightly basis (recall Johan Hedberg multiple times). This is exactly what we are seeing today. Yes...Auld is playing well but there is no excuse for not being able to put a puck past this guy.

Henrik has not had to be spectacular thus far but has been solid when necessary. The Rangers took way to many penalties that period...games like this usually come down to who can capitalize late on the powerplay. The Rangers, being the rested team, should be able to come through.
