Who's it Gonna Be?

It has felt like an eternity since the Rangers last played a hockey game but finally tonight we will know where we are going. Either we go to Montreal or we go to Pittsburgh. If Washington wins then we go to Montreal and if the Flyers win then we go to Pittsburgh. I have mentioned this before, both teams are good and it will be a tough series regardless. We had a winning record against both teams during the season and they are both playing well right now.

Pittsburgh played a team in Ottawa that everyone knew was not playing well at all and it was no surprise that they swept them. Montreal played a team that they dominated the whole season and had some problems but ended up blowing them out in Game 7. They are both solid offensive teams with goalies that are playing great and sound defensive hockey. The thing is that the Rangers have been playing solid as well. There offense has been playing like we expected them to since the beginning of the season. Our star players are stepping up and Henrik has been outstanding. To win against either team we are going to have to limit our mistakes and continue our excellent offensive play that we saw in the series against the Devils. Regardless of who we play, we are going to have to play a solid defensive game and Henrik is going to have to play some of the best hockey of his career. I think we have a chance against either team and I personally just want the second round to start already.
