We Needed That One

That was a game we were supposed to win with the Sabres on a serious slide. Miller had a great game really making some great saves but my new favorite line of Prucha, Dawes and Dubinsky played like superstars. They hustled, played well and put in two great goals. The penalty killing was excellent when it needed to be, especially on the 5 on 3 in the beginning of the second period. Henrik didn't get tested that much late in the game, with only 5 shots in the 3rd period, but he made a huge save at the end of the game and made sure the Rangers came away with a much needed win. It wasn't a blowout or complete domination but it was a hard fought game against a good goalie and a good win that we had to have. The biggest thing that needs to happen now is some consistency. This play needs to carry over so we can start a nice win streak and rise in the standings.
