Well it appears as if coach Tom Renney and Marek Malik had an incident after Tuesday nights win where Malik refused to shake Renney's hand, which then led to him packing up his things and leaving the Garden. I'm very curious to why this would happen especially because Tuesday's game was a solid one for Malik (aka he did not cost the Rangers a win), and Tom Renney has seemed to be the only person who has not gotten down on Malik and has continued to give him some ice time (more then any fan would like to see).
Hopefully this will be the last straw and Malik will either be traded or the Rangers will just outright cut him. At this point, I, like most others, am willing to just take the loss and cut him instead of trying to get something in return. This guy is not what this team needs, he's not a team player and let's face it, he doesn't do much good on the ice.
