Leetch Ceremony

The number 2 will never again be worn by a New York Ranger, and this just became official as the number 2 of Brian Leetch has just been raised the the rafters.

Here are some quick notes from the ceremony...

-Leetch was given a motorcycle by the organization, and it was being ridden by who else but...Ty Domi
-Nice touch by the Rangers, all wearing the number 2 on their sweaters.
-Wow, didn't Leetch's daughter just look miserable out there?
-As expected, Messier had his usual waterworks, on the other hand, Leetch didn't shed a tear.
-Fans didn't take too kindly to Brian's mentioning of the name Dolan.
-Leetch gave thanks to a lot of people in his speech, Glen Sather got none of the love.
-Last but not least...probably the biggest news of the night. During his Speech, Leetch announced that Adam Graves will have the honor of having his number 9 being retired by the Rangers as well sometime next season.

Wow, great ceremony, but now it's time for some hockey. Huge game for the Rangers, lets hope this emotion carries over.

The Graves announcement really stole the show. It's gonna be awesome seeing the 4 guys up there representing the '94 team.
